in this thread you can discuss the shrine rules. which ones are dumb, which ones you like, what new ones you would like to see.
please dont make a habit of questioning our moves on the field on the rest of the board or you go.

well, maybe I can explain a particular rule for those confused.

can't we go back to the days when the only rules here were
1) no personal info
2) no cursing in those other forums?
I think those were the rules that attract most of us who left SFN because of all the rules made up on a whim by guys like Boots.

no we can't. is there any rule inparticular that you dont think is shrine worthy?
btw, it was never that simple here. half of the board was governed by fcc rules. thats much more that just no cursing. the shrine has always been rules heavy and never on a whim. careful thought has gone into our present system and i personally think it works great.
be specific.

all females are hot chicks here at the shrine. as long as they have an innie they are a hot chick. even siobahn had access to the ladies forum when she was around.
i think you can count on two hands how many people we have banned over the years. our biggest banning was the 6 assholes last year.
besides them and a few of their mults there have not been too many people who have been banned from the shrine.
i try and keep all members happy if possible. even bigfan had access to one forum for a long time although he never took advantage of it. even the 6 unworthy have access to the new men's room now if they want. so far only one has come back.
only one person since the hot chick rule started has been banned because of the hot chick rule, nazihood and he is back already.
whats the complaint about the hot chick rule anyway?
if a regular member goes around stalking and harassing one of the hot chicks they have to answer to the hot chick council because the hot chicks rule.
nicklehood going around calling all the ladies cunts over and over again and trying to get them to quit the board just isnt going to fly anymore. whats wrong with that?

i would say that the majority of the hot chicks on here that were called cunts and chased around the site are still here. flygirl took a beating and she is adamant about the fact that the hot chicks don't need protection. it's my opinion that if you can't handle getting fucked with then you aren't up to the shrine challenge. if you don't want to get fucked with then stay in the old fashioned sections. it used to be that if you posted in hey now you knew what the risks were. that's what made it fun. if nothing else, the satellite sections of the board should be anything goes with the exception of posting personal info that isn't already out there on the internet. know what you are getting into before you enter a forum. if it's too rough for you then get out.

understood but i want to see more hot chicks join here and i believe that less and less will join and more and more will quit if we let that shit go on unchecked. the gatekeeper controls satellite, the hot chicks now control hey now as far as disciplining the offenders. if it gets excessive the women have control to get rid of the trash. i think thats a cool situation if we want hot chicks to join and stick around here. we are empowering the women of the shrine, not treating them like they cant take it because most of them can. it seems to me its the men who are having the hardest time dealing with women calling the shots here now.

i would think that if a hot chick is joining a howard stern message board that she would expect things to get rough from time to time. like atg was saying, most people that come to the shrine are coming here because they had shit experiences at other stern boards. i think that rules are what run people out of here. go through the classic threads. the best ones are the ones where people are getting severely fucked with to the point of melting down.

you can ask the hot chicks if you want. nazihood was banned from hey now, for his comments, after a discussion and vote by the hot chick council in the hot chick forum. i did not make that decision. i even asked them if they wanted to throw him in the hole for awhile or give him a second chance, etc.
you are right, the hot chicks dont need protected, the guys do.

i think we've all been here long enough to know that hot chicks or any chicks for that matter aren't lining up to post at the howard shrine. i'd love it if more chicks were here. chicks = traffic. go to some of these other boards that have lots of chicks and you'll find that they all roll with the punches. any time someone is new to a message board they get fucked with. that's the nature of the beast. if there were more chicks here then it wouldn't just be the guys fucking with people. if the nature of the board needs to be changed to protect the slim chance that a random hot chick will not only find this board but also want to become a regular poster then so be it. i say cater to those that are already here.
